To explore my “field of enquiry” more I need to start to find relevant reading for it.
There is Foucaults concept of the “Public Sphere” which matters for my project, as it is an important topic in terms of how the public sphere has now been mediated and what that means in a wider context. His theory has been critisised stating that his vision of a public sphere was aimed only at literate and educated people, creating and inclusion-exclusion of other social groups in society. This is still relevant, if not even more so, in the discourse about new media and the global public sphere.

These articles focus on the theme of “Social Exclusion”:
Then there is also reading I have to find about representation and self-representation, how we “create” identity through networks nowadays etc.
